posticon New Memeber

Hi everyone i'm from melbourne and i have a 2003 twilight xtrail with 35000 kms. I inherited the exy from my father who passed away 12mths after purchasing his new toy.I find it a more practical vehicle as i have just had my 2nd child and my previous car which i still have is a vx ss commodore. In the past 2 years that i have been driving the exy i have really been enjoying it and would like to do a bit of off road driving with it as i have not tried the 4wd on the vehicle. i hope to make some friends on this forum and one day meet up with some of you.

Re: New Member

Hi (name?)

And Welcome to the X-Trail Forums.

I know it's not the nicest way to get yourself an exy, but in any case your father made quite a good choice in vehicle.

If your planning any 4x4 ventures just remember the X-Trail is still a light SUV and does have it limitations. My advice is to avoid using the LOCK mode for long periods and try and use either 2WD or AUTO most of the time.

Please let us know if you need any help with any aspect of the forum and we will be more than happy to assist.

We have set-up quite an extensive forum guide section which you may like to refer to for help and it can be found HERE

If your interested in an event or meet up keep an eye on the EVENTS section of the forum and perhaps place your own interest for a meet up.
