Re: Calling all Brisbane Xtrailers

Hi Jalalski
Our X-Trail is an ST with the only addition being Cooper AT tyres and it has to work for its keep. Our special interest is the outback and have recently taken the X-Trail north to Karumba and back through Lawn Hill, Mt Isa, Boulia, Birdsville and through Diamantina NP to Winton before returning to Brisbane. On that trip it competed with a Patrol and Hilux and performed very well. We have previously travelled all over Aust with a Pajero and camper trailer so have done the serious 4WD thing. We don't enjoy beach driving - prefer to leave it to the vehicles with greater clearance for the sake of the dunes.
Cheers
Bev

Re: Calling all Brisbane Xtrailers

Hi All,
Thanks for coming along on Saturday and exploring the Conondales.

We had a great time and enjoyed meeting everyone.

Photos will be posted shortly. If you have any photos from your canmeras, please foward them to me. Likewise, if anyone would like any of my photos, just let me know and I will send them to you.

Thanks again for a great day,

PS: Sorry for taking you down that over grown bush track. It was a bit longer than I expected. (But hey - You have a try it once) emoticon

Kind Regards

DaveQ

Dave,

Had a fantastic time, nice to meet some like minded people and hope to keep in touch for years to come.

Will certainly like to do more day trips and I am looking forward to getting out and about on the beach. It was good to see some differenty models and the little differences they come with and some of the modifications that have been made. Don't worry about the track, wasn't long enough for me, sorry the day had to end.

Oh, by the way, I think we could have made that hill.

All the best to everyone who came along on the day and look forward to the next one.
