Re: we lost a soft roader comparison

Hi tja,
With any compare it had its disadvantages and its advantages if I was to tell you what is good and bad about it would be my interpritation of what they have tried to say in the mag it would'nt make me go out and buy one. The X-trail was $37,990 Rav $43,990 this means we can spend $6,000 on the x-trail to get it up to the rav specs hang on a second we are already there so that means we have $6000 to customise with while evey other rav blends in to its surrounds

Re: we lost a soft roader comparison

Hi
We looked at the RAV AND whislt having the most modern interior and looks it is way overpriced and is poor value in comparison to the rest of the market. The CRV had the nicest comfy interior but is flawed in the 4wd and looks dept, the Forrester was too small on interior space and guttless without the turbo and a slightly overpriced based on that( must say the turbo XT I drove flies and is as quick as the latest WRX not kidding)
Leaves me with the Vitara which I must say is excellent all around and the only one with H -L ranges, its stylish well equipped but to its down fall was not roomy enough especially in the boot for my family.
I also considered the Tucson which is very underrated, I cant believe its a Hyundai it is roomy drives very well and well equipped for $31K but only comes in an auto.
That is why I settled for the ST-S it excells where the others I looked at failed and was the most practical and despite the power loss had the torquiest motor at lower revs and has already been proving itself since 2002
