If you are coming this way, you could always try out my mechanic which is just down the road near Bunnings - at half the cost for book services well worth it unless you specifically want Nissan to service it. No loan car unfortunately but he's very quick and generally on time and he does work every 2nd Saturday. He did my old Exy and he will be looking after Rex when it's time for his first service.

Jamie,

This should go into the "non-Nissan" servicing thread as a recommendation because this thead is limited to Nissan servicing and Nissan dealers only emoticon

Re:

I have to report a good experience with Northside Nissan at Wangara, WA.

During delivery the inspecting dealer had found a reasonable sized scratch in the sunroof. I have to admit I had never seen it! Suddenly I receive a call from Northside Nissan saying "your sunroof has arrived".
"What sunroof?" I asked. The guy explained the inspection find to me over the phone. He said that they wanted to replace the sunroof as a warranty repair.
Despite my best efforts I couldn't see a scratch and wondered what the hell they were on about....except after the sunroof was replaced they showed me the scratch. Yep, it was there alright.
I was very appreciative of the free warranty repair. And the staff at Northside Nissan seem to be among the most friendly I have seen.

Good result.
Lucky they found it otherwise they would have blamed the scratch as your doing making it harder to get a replacement.

I reckon the scratch might have happened at the dealership during servicing and maybe that's why they were so anxious to get it replaced before you discovered the scratch yourself emoticon

I have now experienced the Zupps Nissan dealership at Beaudesert and I am very happy with the way they conduct themselves and they went thru my car and reported to me on their findings.

The exy went for her 110,000 km service and was happy alround with everything they have done.

Top effort guys.

Regards Scot

Re: Nissan Dealer Experience (The Good & Bad)

Had my 10,000km service done at Westland Autos, Kalgoorlie. Goldfields Nissan is the local dealer but all Nissan services are done by Westland Autos who is also a Ford dealer. One of those country dealers which services dual brands I guess. Staff are very friendly and willing to help if asked. I was offered an engine flush when I booked in the Exy but I said no. Got a free car wash and the carpets and interior cleaned and vacuumed at the end too. The Exy hasn't been this clean since I got it. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon out of 5

Re: Nissan Dealer Experience (The Good & Bad)

Hey Guys

I would like to commend the staff of Nissan Hobart. I have taken my 2008 T31 here since early 2009. Recently Exy suffered another faulty CVT, but it was 6mths out of warranty.

Nissan Hobart's service manager and center manager went into discussion with Nissan to help reduce the cost of our repair. They managed to get it covered under warranty.

I will return here for service while ever I own Nissan's and would proudly recommend them to any Nissan owner.

Thankyou Nissan Hobart.

Cheers
Les
