Nepean Motor Group kept me waiting an hour to replace a door rubber on The Navara (A pillar) only to tell me that they ordered the wrong part, the dummies ordered the windlace instead.

Re: Re:

I know the feeling with them Cooch took my work Navara in to have the rear off side tail light replaced and a 60k service when i went back to pick it up they gave me the paper work and it said that all the work was done , when i went to the car the broken tail light was still there . I went back in asked what was going on and they told me it was done i had to show the manager my tail light cause they didnt believe me . Then i had to wait for 3 days so they could order one. This is besides the enormous wait you have just to drop the car off.

They would have emptied your fuel to do the fuel filler recall. We were required to have the tank below half for them to perform the works. However, they should have put it back in for you!

Hi Naff. Thats strange, Not saying your wrong mate but it seems they never emptied mine to do the filler recall? I apologised and presented the car with just under half a tank full and left with the same, if not a little more. I wonder if they did remove any fuel they may have put it back? Cheers, Haz.

Yeah Haz, they would removed the fuel and put it back in for you. It's a safety risk and they can't work with the full tank of fuel.

Yes, thats what I presumed would happen. So far I am more than happy with the Nissan place I deal with? I hope things continue this way as you know I just brought a new TI X Trail with CVT?? simply because wifey loves the bells and whistles! Thank God I have kept my manual 04 X Trail. I have been a manual gear box man all my life, from OshKosh trucks twin sticks, Macks truck, direct change no syncromesh here, Kenworth 15 speed road rangers, and every passanger car and 4X4 I have ever owned. Hmm, the new TI with CVT?? Oih, Noi1 Cheers, haz.

My 2c:

Perth, WA

Magic Nissan, Leach Hwy, Melville.

Booked an express service. Lady on the phone said they open at 7am, and it takes an hour. Great. Turn up at 7. Yes, we open at 7, but the service department opens at 8. Turns out she doesn't normally work there. They gave me a loan car and handled the situation as well as they could. No surprises at the end, so i'll be back for my next service.

Total Nissan, Albany hwy, Bentley (not the one in Vic Park)

Have some damage from some bastards breaking into my car, took it in for a quote. They had to keep it from 9-5. 1 week later, still no quote or phone call. They obviously don't want the business, so bye bye.

You are going to run into problems at every company, but its how they deal with them that makes a difference. Pity some companies don't understand that marketing dollars pay for everyone who walks in. It doesn't take much to lose a customer for life, but it honestly doesn't take that much to keep them either.

Re:

I have, they are reasonable but nothing spectacular. It's a conglomerate dealership so a broad range of experienced mechanics not dedicated Nissan mechanics.

Pricing is much the same as all big dealerships.

If you are coming this way, you could always try out my mechanic which is just down the road near Bunnings - at half the cost for book services well worth it unless you specifically want Nissan to service it. No loan car unfortunately but he's very quick and generally on time and he does work every 2nd Saturday. He did my old Exy and he will be looking after Rex when it's time for his first service.

Send me a text Scot if you want his number and details.
