I was surprised that none of the X-Trails had the forum sticker, so Jalal, if you send me a few hundred I will endeavour to place one on every X-Trail that drives through the Central West. emoticon

That would be an excellent approach, pull them over and if they pass the breath test, give them a sticker for being X-Cellent X-Trailers. hehehehe

If they don't, take the white side indicators off their fenders (Series II) and book them. Just tell them it's the new law LOL

BTW, you can start printing the forum business cards, it's a much cheaper alternative. LOL

Re: Spotto's

Well, I was at the Nissan dealer at Rockdale this arvo for some business and was outside near my exy looking at something in the rear seat, when a nice gentleman approached me and aksed "Are you Jalal from the Australian X-Trail Forum?" emoticon

I said, Yep I am.

It was Wolfie 2006 from our forum picking-up his exy from service.

We had a nice chat.

Nice meeting you mate.

Re: Spotto's

Saw a nice looking black ST with a TJM spring lift at the 'John Hunter' hospital today. I left a card on the window, hoping to get him to join up. Very nice looking exy.

From his rego plates, his name was 'Ben', so hopefully he'll drop in and say Hi. (if he hasn't already and I'm getting vague in my old age) emoticon

Re: Spotto's

I saw an X-Trail @ Bathurst on the (long) weekend and it had a Opposite Lock branded tow bar (at least it had "Opposite Lock" on the name-plate)...

I know they make stuff for serious/real 4WD's - perhaps they've added X-Trails to that list as well now?

If I can find the "towbar" thread I'll add that OL are another option of aftermarket towbars available for the X-Trail.

Re: Spotto's

Titanium (?) with plates JD-???? (numerals deliberately omitted for (privacy reasons) parked in Maccas carpark in Bourke St Waterloo today 10am.

It had a sticker on the back window that looked very similar to the X-Trail FORUM sticker - outline of Australia with what appeared to be blue text in the middle (I was driving past on the main road so it was abit far to make out exactly what the text was). Maybe an ealier incarnation of the sticker or a custom one???

Is it owned by a member? If I see it again I'll do a lap around the block and put a forum business-card/flyer under the windscreen wiper emoticon

Re: Spotto's

hehehe. I have seen that sticker too emoticon

An exy parks on the road near work with it and everytime I think it's a forum member.

The map of Australia looks pale/light blue in colour. I think it's either a mechanic shop or some sort of society (insurance or otherwise) I'll try and read what it says next time I see it.

============================================

This is Micmac from Berowra- While this is not an entry about the Car Show - it is a compliment for an Exy that i saw today,Fri 27th (Jalal this one should have also been on the stand)on the freeway going noth of Sydney a titanium TI with twin exhaust, decal over the 3rd stop lamp, and the X trail Sticker on the back gate,I think the wind deflector for the sun roof, look like lots of mods here, what a beauty you drive, I followed you from Wahroonga and left at Berowra, you continued north, Congrats on the good looking X Trail.

- What is that fitting in the middle of the plate that covers the space where you can add another brake light - a parking sensor or camera -
