Re: Chromed wheels

ffffffiinnnnnnaaaaalllllyyyyyy
we finally picked the car up today after giving up on our useless accountant and organising our own finance through the nissan dealer. I love my exy! Best car ever. The wheels are awesome, they fit great! The only thing I was bothered about was they put street tyres on rather than semi offroads but will probably be fine with the minimal amount of dirt it will see. I got em to give me the steel rims as well so if I do wanna go offroad I can buy a set of serious tyres and swap em over.
Pics will be along ASAP - i sense theres some interest in the possible 200sx chrome wheels scenario emoticon

Re: Chromed wheels

Excellent stuff! Congratulations emoticon

With many new exy's coming on board, we need to organise a meet-up very soon (for Sydney siders that is)

Other states are encouraged to do the same emoticon

Lithgow might be a good option for that (check the events section)

Re: Chromed wheels

Finally got some pix organised emoticon I possibly have a part number from Nissan for these wheels, they gave me the steel rims back in the boxes that the mags came in I think. If anyone wants the number let me know.

Re: Chromed wheels

I finally figured out where my wheels came from....
Nissan did a GT version of the 2002 200sx and these wheels were part of the upgrade.
I found this obsolete page still on the nissan site:

Re: Chromed wheels

Hey Powderbomber
I know I am new here but wondering you there are any pics of your 200SX rims that aren't photoshopped?? The wheel arch and water tank gave it away.
I saw the similarities between these 2 pics on your website...

http://users.on.net/~powderbomber/sextrail.jpg

http://users.on.net/~powderbomber/xtrail2.jpg

16" rims would be a lot smaller than your signature, despite the height drop.
I got 20's on my ride and they are not even close to filling the guards like your 16's.

Possible to get some pics of what the S15 200SX rims look like on your car? or is the second pic the picture with the 200SX rims fitted??

EDIT: Sorry, realised that they are both the same style of rim. Obviously, they are the 200SX rims.

That means if the 200SX rims fit, then all manner of aftermarket 5 stud Nissan rims will fit... Skyline, 350Z and 200SX rims etc.
Try these

Re: Chromed wheels

You should be able to see the real pic on the link you put up - http://users.on.net/~powderbomber/xtrail2.jpg

theres a closeup of just the wheel at: http://users.on.net/~powderbomber/xtrail1.jpg
