Re: Do my spark plugs need changing
Phil,
I'm pretty happy with mine and I had them for quite a while. I can't say that you will get major HP out of it, but my exy never missed a beat and it feels quite lively (touch wood) LOL

Re: Do my spark plugs need changing
Dan,
Not sure mate, but in case, the sale advert is deceiving as I went there on Thursday to buy the plugs and was advised that this sale price is for whatever stock is available in the shops and surprise, surprise when I gave them our part number, they said they need to be ordered and I will get charged shipping and the rest of that stuff.

Re: Do my spark plugs need changing
Hi Guys,
I know I have previously said that it is best to buy the NGK Iridium plugs locally, but I just couldn't pass on such a good offer
8 x NGK Iridium plugs for a grand total of $83.00AUD (shipped from the US)
That works-out to be around $10 bucks per plug. Certainly beats all the local prices.
Still waiting to receive them.
If interested, the ebay auction is still active HERE

Re: Do my spark plugs need changing
The NGK Iridium plugs arrived from the U.S. in 5 days. Very impressive service indeed and I can recommend this seller to anyone.

Re: Do my spark plugs need changing
Alex,
The NGK Iridium IX plugs last 60,000kms as per the information on the NGK website HERE.
I found them to be excellent and am still using them. They last longer than the standard NGK plugs that came with the car, but less than the Platinum ones which are only available on the xtrail in Japan. Australia didn't get them and they're expensive indeed.
Duxbac's 50,000kms on the Iridium IX plugs is only 10K shorter than their life-span, but that could be attributed to many other factors, not necessarily a reflection on the spark plugs used.
