Sorry mate, don't like it. Prefer the factory model. But that is only my opinion. emoticon

Jalal,

I am also not a big fan of the Airplex design.
However (look at the pic below) if you can track this baby down somehow then I will be most interested.
Maybe explore the possibilities of getting some made locally? emoticon

Thanks guys,

Vik, I have seen this one before and I believe Canada has them from Nissan.

Not worth making these locally.

By the way guys, I have some suprising news for you.

Do you know who makes the "Genuine Nissan" bonnet protectors??

A. Imported from Japan and branded as "genuine" Nissan?

B. Made locally in QLD and branded as "Nissan"?

hahaha emoticon

There you go! so much for a genuine nissan product.

I'm tracking the company in QLD down and making inquiries.

Re: Bonnet Protectors for the X

I have had the "Nissan" bonnet protector (smoked) on my car for about a year now. I have never really liked it but it was cheaper to buy that than have the big dent repaired in the front of my bonnet!! The protector hides it nicely. emoticon

When I fitted the eyelids I removed the protector and really preferred the look. I like a car to have clean lines and not obvious pieces of plastic added to it (personal preference). But of course the ugly dent was visible again. emoticon

So here is my solution and something for others to consider .... paint it the same colour as the car! emoticon ...

I like it, very subtle. I was considering adding the X-Trail logo on to it but it is such a nice paint finish that it would be a shame to.

Don't you love the ideas you can pick-up on MSN? hahahaha emoticon That is why I always encourage direct interaction between members, you never know what you can learn and save yourself a bunch of $$$$

Who's next? Drop me a line instead of throwing away your bonnet protector. hehehe
