Re: Air intake design

Fellow Xyers, I have a a petrol T30 2007-8. As my downloaded workshopl manual files have been corrupted somehow, and I cannot access it any more, could anyone please tell me if there should be a jubilee clip gripping the joint / union of the air intake tube that comes from just under the front of the bonnet and goes to the tube that leads on to the filter box. This male-female joint / union seems quite loose and I fear water could enter. Also can anyone kindly send me, via email or Skype, the workshop manual in Word, *.pdf or any other friendly format?

Re: Air intake design & modifications

No there is no joining clamp/clip.

Water will enter the intake from directly under to bonnet lip where the air enters much easier than through a loose joint in the plastic piping anyway.
