im going to look into this picnic table thing.. surely the removable tray could be modified? ie have a folding leg mechanism attached to it, and stringthened a little? have to check the clearance underneath, might have to remove the black foam bits.. then if there is enough clearance between the tray and the spare wheel, it will all be good!

as for folding picnic chairs, in the old mini (1971) the front seats were only held in by two wing nuts each! they became super comfy bucket picnic chairs!
