Re: Chrome Plating

That was for all 4 wheels.

I looked at the Bob Jane on-line catalogue and I can get brand new 17" rims with tyres for around a $1000.

Yes, I need that sort of santa and he's called Bob Jane to drop by my place emoticon

Thanks for the additional info. if you can get it, but if it's too hard to find don't worry about it, as I think the price wont be cheaper than this.

You'll find that tyres get more expensive the larger you go in diameter...

In saying that, I am very surprised that you can get a set of wheels AND tyres for $1000 - especially 17inch!

Re: Chrome Plating

Ok Guys,

Most of you know my passion with that "bling" also know as Chrome theme and I have been chroming my exy bit by bit as much as I can.

Recently I said to myself (and someone suggested to me the same thing as well) "why spend so much time and effort (meaning money) or chroming only bits and pieces when you can just get the whole thing chromed and be done with it"

SO

I dropped my exy at one of these chroming places recently and this was the result LOL emoticon

Image

Aaah! Finally!!! Exactly the result I wanted and I can retire now from all that chroming and use my exy to shave in the morning. hehehehe emoticon

P.S. For anyone wanting to shave and can't find a mirror to do that at home, you're more than welcome to drop-by and do that in my driveway LOL Hell. you don't even need to wake me up, just do your stuff leave a note of thanks and be on your way to work emoticon emoticon emoticon

Re: Chrome Plating

You guys have triggered a memory - where I used to get off the tram from from school in Prahran there was a place that would re-chome bits and pieces - they had the tank sitting just inside an open double door - I can still remember the smell of it. Don't supppose they're still there, or would still do that in these days of risk management.
And yes, I seem to also remember once suggesting that you just chrome the whole thing, Jalal.

Re: Chrome Plating

Yeah Dave, as much as I would love to have a full chrome exy, I believe Kev is right, age is against me in keeping the chrome exy shiny all the time LOL emoticon
