Re:

Ask them a direct question mate, what was done for the extra $132.45 charge on top of the fixed service price....I know I would.

Re:

Hi.

I have all ways done all my own servicing, reasons I wont go into here. The broshure I was given by the dealer where Ihave brought my new 2011 X trail TI with (dare I say it, CVT?) says I will get 6 years or 120,000 klms of 'CAPPED' price service? This means I will always know the maximum price I will pay when I come in for my next scheduled service at any Nissan dealer, Australia Wide? Are they pulling my bumper? Will they change my wiper blades whether they need changing or not, and if not, because its capped pricing and they dont need changing will they deduct the price? Lots of variables ther? Cheers, Haz.

Re: Service Costs Comparison

Hi basshead,
You mention about changing wheels around including the spare.
I just bought a new 2011 X-trail and asked the sales person if the spare is a full sized wheel - the answer was "yes".
Who is a Donkey - Pick me.
On going thru the "how to do book" I found about the spare. Oh Oh. Opened up the rear of the car and checked the spare and it's one of those "Do not drive over 80kph" wheels.
Not happy Jan.
I have just done 1,000km and my service is done, now I am going to wait for them to ask for a report. Which they send out to see how happy you are.

Re:

Well, the sales person didn't lie as such, it is a full size spare wheel, except it is not the same size as other wheels emoticon

That's how they're getting away with it because it is not one of those thin small space savers.

Jump on eBay and you might get lucky with scoring an alloy wheel and tyre for yourself.
