Re: seat covers and floor mats...
Can anyone recommend a seat cover maker in Sydney, preferably around inner city way? I've had mine for almost a year but there are already visible signs of wear mostly where my buttocks go on the drivers seat and some on the passenger side. Any recommendations welcome.
Thanks.

Re: seat covers and floor mats...
Hi evilroy,
What sort of material did you go for the front and back and what sort of prices do they charge? I've looked around Kmart/Big W for the front seat covers but couldn;t see any ones with a detachable headrests.
Much appreciated.

Re: seat covers and floor mats...
Ok here's the details of the place I got mine from. I'd take some photos only the X-Trail is currently in for it's free 1000k service.
D.P Car Seat Covers.
707 Forest Rd Bexley 2207
(02) 9553 9014
Their business card says they specialise in vans, 4 wheel drives, and split rears...
Includes separate headrest covers, separate seat base and seat back covers, all custom made to fit. The rear seat covers allow you to put the back seats down flat, but I didn't bother about allowing for the ability to use the armrest in the back seat, but I'm sure they could've done it if I wanted to. I'm not sure what the material is, but it's got a foam backing - I specifically asked for one that isn't going to fall apart after a few years like other ones I have seen (like the supacheap covers do). The material is plain black, but they have hundreds of different types of material, from wool, to cow patterns - you name it, they've got it...
Just something I thought you should be aware of: They had to unbolt the centre rear seatbelt to get the cover on one of the seatbacks. It isn't really an issue unless you'll be washing them regularly
Total cost was $150 and they even fitted them for us. We tried Supacheap but there were so many to choose from, where didn't know where to start (and after seeing how many packets had been opened, there's a good chance many others thought the same as us, and there'd probably now be the wrong covers in the packets anyway). When they fit them, they cut the holes with scissors where the seatbelt and headrest mounts go through the seatback covers... I'm not sure if they'd do that if they had to deliver them to you as they might not know exactly where the holes need to go without having the car there as a reference.
