Hella Raylle 2000's

Well, after months of mucking around and several attempted ripoffs from various 4WD shops, I finally found a Auto electrician near me to hook up the lights.

first quote was $225, another place quoted $165 and the place near me did it for $110. (lights not included emoticon )

They are awesome and unbelievably bright.

Will post some photos later on tonight.

Re: Hella Raylle 2000's

Excellent stuff Dave.

I wanted to fit the 2000's when I was shopping around for spotties, but when I tried them on the nudge I got on my car, they were a very tight fit and would have blocked most of the air coming through to the engine, so I decided to get the 1000's which are 1 step down.

I paid $415 for lights ($330 for the lights and $85 for fitting)

How much did you score your lights for?

Looking forward to pics.

Got the lights for free emoticon

A friend had them on his old landcruiser which he sold. He was going to buy a 4WD and put the lights on it, but then got married and forced to buy a "more sensible car" (not my words!).

I offered to take them off his hands, and fortunately, he agreed.

Wow Dave, they look awesome! They really do.

Take a pic when it gets dark with all lights on. (including the fog lights) and another one with only the headlights and the spotties.

Where did the auto electrician install the switch for you and what type of switch did he use?

Re: Hella Raylle 2000's

Will see what I can do about the dark pics.

Auto electrician installed the switch in one of the blanking plates near the drivers door (where the electric mirror adjuster is).

He used a silver metal on/off switch. Although it's different from the other switches, it looks quite good. Not to mention that Nissan quoted me $70 for a genuine one.

They did a very neat job actually, I am very happy with it.
