Driving Light Anti-Theft Locking Nuts

I've been searching high and low for the past couple of weeks for some locking nuts to protect my new LightForce 170 spot lights.

And my findings are that there is no real choice and “Hansa” Locking Nuts is probably the only ones you can get. And they are also very expensive.

However as expensive as they are, they are still worth the investment to protect an expensive set of Driving Lights.

Note: The following will also fit most "Hella" Driving Lights.

There are two resellers that I've found that put their own name to the "Hansa" products. The locking nuts are identical with both.

The First: (pic supplied by Lightforce)

The “Nite Stalker” Anti-Theft Nuts, Part # LN200

The Second: (the ones I got)

The “Cibie” Anti-Theft Nuts, Part # 061107

Both these brands retail at about $35 per set. I managed to bargain TJM down to $30 per set, seeing as thought I need 3 sets. emoticon

And here is a pic with them installed:

Re: Driving Light Anti-Theft Locking Nuts

Thanks for the info. Noel, but I don't think these will fit the Hellas. I think I've tried them before.

Can you please measure the diameter of the Lightforce bolts and we can then see if it'll fit my Hellas.

Pitty you can't do anything to protect the lens itself though.

The bolts fit my old "Hella" Driving Lights. Approx 9mm Diameter.

Re: Driving Light Anti-Theft Locking Nuts

I had a similar problem trying to find locking nuts for my KCs and drove around for months without them with the lights on the Jeep - always a worry.

I might have a look at these nuts and see if they'll fit. The other alternative might be to see if I can get other bolts to fit.

BTW, had the dealer realign the headlights at the 1,000km free service. They are a lot better now, but still not great.
