Re: Replacement Tyres

That's good news. How much are they? Do they fall into the sub-$200 (budget) category? emoticon

Re: Replacement Tyres

The odo's reached 50,000km a week or two ago and I've almost done 20,000km on my BFG's. I swapped front-back on the weekend to ensure they wear evenly.

There is noticeable difference (possibly up to 2mm) in wear between the front and rear tyres, but I still reckon there's more tread depth than what the stock Toyo's had when they were new emoticon

The ones that were on the back still looked new! At this rate I wouldn't be surprised if they're still on the car in another 50,000 - when the odo reaches 100,000. That's pretty good for a set of possibly the cheapest set of tyres I've ever bought!

Re: Replacement Tyres

Okay. We just got 4 new Coopers CS4s for the exxy from Spot on Tyres in Campbelltown. The original Lifeliner SLEs I mentioned b4 have been replaced by the CS4s and should cost about 220 each but because they didnt know about the replacement we got them for $200 (instead of $198 as previously mentioned for the SLEs)

First impressions, very quiet on the road, very light steering but car tracks very well. Will keep you informed.

Bluey.

Re: Replacement Tyres

I am looking at replacing the original tyres on my EXY (Toyo 215/70R15 98H Radial).
On-road mainly with occassional beach driving. For the same size, I found the following on the market. These average about the same, approx $200 each give and take.
Anyone who has experiences with one these, please share it here so I can make a decision which on to go for.

Bridge Stone - Dueler H/L D683
Goodyear - Eagle RV
Dunlop - LE MANS RV 502

I will be selling the spare TOYO (brand new) once I get the new tyres so PM me with your offer if you are interested.

Tino, please use the "For Sale" section of the forum to advertise this and not this thread.

Ive just hit 10,000ks out of my BFG's

The front have just under 11mm of tread depth and the rear have bang on 11mm. Not bad considering they had 12mm when new emoticon

They have gotten quiter too. They are a very easy tyre to live with. Im just as happy with them today as the day i got them
