Re: Stickers
Jalal,
If you’ve offended me, you’ll know about. Just kidding. No offence taken.
quote:
I'm saying this, because when I was taking pics of the letest Jalal5c design attached to my car, I could hardly notice/read the slogan due to it being positioned in a dark colour-shade area of the sticker, so I think the new background colour will solve this problem.
I was thinking the same thing with the blue part of the background, not being able to see the text properly.
So here we go again: Jalal5d:
“Jalal5d (180w x 150h Oval)”
This is the final design I hope. I’m not changing it anymore. You can shoot me if I do it again.
“Jalal5d” has the “On-Road Off-Road On-line” with the “Fading Spectrum” background and the text in this version is much easier to read. I have also made the sticker exactly 180mm x 150mm in this version and also gave the oval boarder some more thickness.
Enjoy…

Re: Stickers
Thanks Noel, looks excellent.
OK Guys, now that we have thought, drafted, designed and re-designed and finally came to a stage where we have a number of designs to choose from, I'm going to start the voting process on the final design which Australian X-Trail Forum will adopt.
I will not include any designs with the nissan badge, unless nissan comes back with a confirmation and permission for us to use the badge (highly unlikely in terms of getting a response)then we will consider it.
I will create a new poll thread and you guys can refer to this thread for pics and samples.
May the voting begin!

Voting Suspended
Hi Guys,
I'm sorry to do this to you, but I think it was a bit early to start the voting process when we're still receiving feedback on the design finalists and members are still coming back with other ideas and suggestions about sticker designs.
We will be enhancing the 2 stickers in question (Jalal5d and Sticker #25) and you will be able to add your final comments on them before we resume the vote.
In the meantime if others have any other ideas and/or suggestions, please raise them now before we resume the vote.
Thanks for your patience guys.

Re: Stickers
Gents,
Amended designs as requested. Please note I’ve change the design numbers again.
“Jalal5e (180w x 150h Oval)”
This one is very similar to Jalal5c. I’ve made the background more lighter in this version so that the text is more visible.
&
“X-Trail Sticker #25b (200x50) (No Graphics)”
This one is similar to #25a. Only change is the X-Trail text is now red.
Please feel free to comment.
Kind Regards

HI I don’t really want to read all 19 pages so I thought I would ask!
are these going to be proper car stickers or laminated?
Proper car stickers. Laminated pics which I've taken where just for illustration purposes
quote: I think we should if going to be proper stickers get a company to sponsor them and pay!
Nissan, Supercheap Auto or Autoburn.
we could either have their name printed on the sticker (small but readable) or every new member that logs on over the next 2 years should be advised of our sponsor!?
The Ranger
Thanks for the idea, this has been asked before and the answer is HERE
The only problem I see with this type of approach is for our forum to turn from a public web page/site to a fully sponsored site and club. Other charges may arise as a result and we wont be as free in our information sharing as we are now. There are benefits of becoming a sponsored site of course.

Re: Stickers
100% correct and the number of members who want to buy the sticker will also play a big role in making this idea a reality.
There will be little point in going into a porinting place to put an order for 5 stickers only, if you know what I mean.
The other option is to have the chosen sticker available on-line for everyone to download and print on their own, but I guess we'll come to that soon.

Well I guess once the sticker has been chosen, the cost invloved will be a factor!
