OK Richi,

I'll wait until we hear from your mate, because I was goingto bid on eBay for a couple of those yellow H3's.

I didn't know that there is eBay for motoring, until I found this item:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=36476&item=7918112187&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW

Maybe your mate can import these or other yellow H3's through Repco, if we have enough takers from the other guys.

Duxbac,

It all depends how yellow you want your fog lights to look.

If you're happy to see just a shade of yellow using NARVA's then they would do the job.

I was after more of a deep yellow colour for mine.

yeah rich, i cant even buy em, i rang the supplier said he cant even sell
them to me as they offered repco a deal some time back and seems they dont
even want to sell me some bulbs, so yeah i dunno, we only have the osram and
narva globes, which have the blue coating, and cant find any yellow fog
globes either.

I'll forward him the latest link you sent, Jalal, and see what he says about them...

Sorry guys.

I would prefer some thing better than the narva all weather.I just think the lack of suppliers in australia is apalling and when i looked at some of the sights you posted it made my mouth water. The choice overseas is fantastic but as usual our importers have let us down.Duxbac

That's correct and it's not only the case with finding light bulbs emoticon

Simpler things that I've looked for previously turned-out to never exist in Australia, yet the market for some of those thing was super huge, even in "the so called" 3rd world countries.

Re: Head lights equal power of 2 candles

Fitted the all weather H3narva 12volt 55watt globes in my fog lights.Tried them last night in the fog and found them a little better than the standard H3 globes, they appear to still be white with a yellow tinge to them and do not reflect back at you as bad in the fog. There has to be a better globe on the market. When i purchased my H3 all weather globes i asked about the philips blue vision 55/60 globes and told him that i had 50plus globes fitted and the advice i got was for all round use and as i do a lot of night driving the 50plus were better.Said also that all the go was the globes with a blue tinge and he thought with some people this was a fashion statement, but also agreed that the philips blue vision are the best of there type and give a brilliant white light. On my toyota hi-lux i fitted a pair of 90/100watt globes that i think were opti-white or something like that and the road was just white in front and on high beam you could not read the road signs as the white light just reflected back.Blinded cars that i came up on low beam and on a long trip i found my eyes were very tired due to eye strain. So too much white can have the reverse effect and my headlights were adjusted correctly.DUXBAC

Hey Jalal
Would you be able to provide a bit of a 'how to' for changing the headlamp bulbs.
Thanks
