It's a great shot and a good angle. Looks like you're also missing the driver's side plastic splash guard from under the engine nondisclosed_email@example.com (basshead)Mon, 05 Jun 2006 21:56:36 +0000 Re: Howdyhttps://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p873206,from=rss#post873206https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p873206,from=rss#post873206Here is a pic of our unpimped exy b4 the BBQ nondisclosed_email@example.com (shane76)Mon, 05 Jun 2006 19:01:51 +0000 Re: Howdyhttps://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p873205,from=rss#post873205https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p873205,from=rss#post873205Yeah thanks Rich, I have been down that road, first I requested a new car (no) then I told them I wanted a new car (no) Then I DEMANDED a new car (NO). What else can I do was gounna go to a current affair but gave them the benifeit of the doubt. Anyways all the repairs have been finished now it`s up to nissan to fix the original problem and hopefully not set fire to it.nondisclosed_email@example.com (shane76)Fri, 02 Jun 2006 17:52:08 +0000 Re: Howdyhttps://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p873204,from=rss#post873204https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p873204,from=rss#post873204Shane, welcome to the forums... I have to say you must have alot more patience than me... If I was in your situation with Nissan setting fire to the engine/bay and then the insurance company stuffing it/you around, I would've been demanding a brand new replacement X-Trail. Keep us informed of the progress (although at the rate you're going, I wont be expecting too much in the near future!) - best of luck with it all! nondisclosed_email@example.com (basshead)Thu, 01 Jun 2006 21:54:36 +0000 Re: Howdyhttps://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p873203,from=rss#post873203https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p873203,from=rss#post873203Yeah we should get it back soon and then hopefully I can play with it a bit. Yes they did foot the bill both Nissan and NRMA. Anyways I`ll have to wait and see what happens.nondisclosed_email@example.com (shane76)Thu, 01 Jun 2006 18:28:38 +0000 Re: Howdyhttps://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p873202,from=rss#post873202https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p873202,from=rss#post873202quote:NPC73 wrote: quote:shane76 wrote: they were doing some tests and set fire to the engine bay ( I was heaps impressed with that). wow, that is different, never ever heard of a Nissan dealer making an error like this before. Maybe they were having a big BBQ session at the dealership LOL It is weird indeed and I hope they footed the bill for that. Sorry to hear about all troubles with the exy Shane and I do hope we get all back in one piece and looking new again.nondisclosed_email@example.com (jalalski)Thu, 01 Jun 2006 08:31:23 +0000 Re: Howdyhttps://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p873201,from=rss#post873201https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p873201,from=rss#post873201quote:shane76 wrote: they were doing some tests and set fire to the engine bay ( I was heaps impressed with that). wow, that is different, never ever heard of a Nissan dealer making an error like this before. So looks like you've had some bad events getting your exy on the road, hopefully it will be soon so you can enjoy all it has to offer like we do, nondisclosed_email@example.com (NPC73)Thu, 01 Jun 2006 00:05:29 +0000 Howdyhttps://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p873200,from=rss#post873200https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p873200,from=rss#post873200Gday everyone, some of you may remember me from last year I was asking a few questions and was thinking of buying someones xtrail that was for sale. Anyways we ended up buying a brand new 2005 Ti-L in october last year. All was well when we got the car except for a chip in the paint on the door moulding (fixed now). Took it away at xmas towed my boat to nelsons bay was sweet, while there we went on the sand at stockton, that was insane only prob we had was getting bogged on the long track on the way in. Help from others we got to the dunes and it was wicked. Apart from ripping the splash cover off at the front. Took it bush at batemans bay after new year and ripped the side step off, oh and we almost lost it at high tide tryin to get the boat off the beach (not that great a car for towing in the sand with a boat). Got back from holidays and the car had a funny vibration so we took it to lincorp (parramatta nissan), they were doing some tests and set fire to the engine bay ( I was heaps impressed with that). SOOOO I got NRMA to pick up the car for me as I was away for work in ACT then while NRMA had it they f**ked it aswell (long long story). It has now been over 3 months and we still haven`t got the car back yet, and the original problem that it was taken to them for still exsists. So one day soon maybe I can get my xtrail back and then I can do some mods on it aswell. Anyways I have no doubt you will all be hearing more from me. Take carenondisclosed_email@example.com (shane76)Wed, 31 May 2006 22:59:40 +0000
