G'day

Well, I don't own an X-trail yet but will do n a couple of months ... got the colour picked out that we want and everything ... going to get an ST-S model.

We hired an X-trail and fell in love with it when we went up to the NT and went through Kakadu and the surrounding national parks. It went everywhere we wanted it to with 3 people 100L of water and a huge amount of gear so we were sorta surprised at how well it tackled everything from corrugated roads to creek crossings to steep sandy climbs.

So we just have to sort out a bit of finance and then we will be going into the dealer and signing our lives away emoticon

Just thought I'd join up as this seems to be a pretty good resource for the old exy.

Cheers
Spoony

Re: G'day

Hi Spoony and welcome to our forum.

You'll be glad to know that you gonna become the first member of this forum with an ST-S which has just been recently released emoticon

Did you pick the new colour that it came in (Slate Grey) or one of the existing colours?

Did it include any other noticeable differences from the inside compared to the previous model?

Sorry to ask you so many questions, but it is a bit exciting to find-out some information about a new release, therefore we look forward to see many pics of your ride when you get it.

I did see one from outside up close and personal (in the new colour) and it looked nice.

You'll be very happy with your purchase am sure.

Enjoy your stay on the forum and give us a yell when you become an xtrailers "officially" emoticon

To enhance your forum identity you may also wish to change some of your optional settings such as your "Avatar", "Signature", & "Location". These settings can be found by clicking the ]Control panel link found above & accessing the Change miscellaneous settings tab.

Re: G'day

Yup ... going the new colour ... it should look tops with nice dark tint.

The only differences seem to be the alloys, fog lamps and sun roof ... the rest seems to have stayed the same (from what I can remember of the ST ... they didn't have any there to compare to).

The ST-S is apparently only for this year according to the dealer ... after that, who knows?
