About to be an X-Trail Owner

Hi all, I have just purchased a 06 ST-S, yesterday, I am now waiting for delivery, which I hope will be earlier rather than later, we (royal we) bought it more for a family car but I personally have other uses for it, I would love to be able to take it camping and I quite often go mountain biking so I am hoping to be able to get some use of it when she who wears the pants is not. Umm we live in the ACT and this is the first 4x4 that we have owned. Looking forward to finding out some good local trips and some a bit futher out.

Re: About to be an X-Trail Owner

OK I am hooked... After heaps of driving and an excellent long weekend I have to say I am really hooked. Before we bought the exy we had a look at heaps of different types, like the new Rav 4, CRV, the mazda one and what ever the subaru was. I ended up with the xtrail as it had more space and was more comfortable than all the others. Then I went for a drive this weekend and now I am so glad that I didn't go with anything else. We went down brown Mt, spent some time on the beach at moruya and came back up the clyde. We went every where we wanted to with out any problems or hessitation. After reading heaps of the forums here I have already asked the "boss" if we can get the new exhaust system. I got the "we'll see" but I can work on that. I look forward to doing more trips and mods with the exy. I have never had so much fun with my cars before. Thanks guys, reading this forum and going for a drive has enforced in my mind that I made the right decision in buying my exy.

Thanks Again
Drew

Hi Drew,

Could you update your location for us please? I just noticed your from the ACT.

A quick drive to Sydney and I'm sure you could have the privilege of a run in an exy with the full kit, now that will more than convincing, emoticon

And we're also looking for an ST-S owner to test the new exhaust template at Hi-Tech in Sydney, so you could score it for a bargain price emoticon

Re: About to be an X-Trail Owner

Hi Drew,

All details about the Hi-Tech exhaust system can be found HERE

Read them carefully and let me know if you're interested and I can then arrange a booking for you with Hi-Tech and negotiate a special deal in terms of pricing seeing that you gonna be the guinea pig for the first ST-S Hi-Tech install in Sydney and the template will be modified with your help.

It will also depend if you will choose the full or the cat back system.

Email me at mailto: [email protected] when you're ready and got the OK from the financial controller emoticon

The blue colour looks very nice indeed Drew. It was my second choice of colour had I not been able to get the black one. Nice! emoticon
