From your enthusiam about mods I can already see a modding monster in the making and this forum will only make you a better one.
If it's not too late then ask for a discount on yr current deal for your tinting costs. You can use this saving to get a tint of your choice. Don't get them to tint it for you because you might get a lighter tint than what you'd prefer. Some of us would rather have a darker tint on ours' than to what the dealer supplied us with.

Re: Intro: Newbie to this fantastic forum Hi Vik,
Haha thanks for the compliment, however I wont be mod-crazy as I once was. True, this forum is like an encyclopedia for X-trail.
The current deal does not include window tinting as only myself know exactly what I want. I plan to go for the lighter colour with maximum UV protection (is there such a thing?) as I have a problem seeing through dark tinting in rainy & dark night.
Looks like I have to wait for another week for the car, the dealer is too lazy to ship the car from Sydney West

Re: Intro: Newbie to this fantastic forum Hi William,
OK, we're now getting into the nitty gritty of mods and other stuff and you gonna have a LOT more questions I am sure
So, can I please ask you to start raising these questions as part of existing threads (window tinting thread included) and if it hasn't been answered there already, someone from the forum will help you.
It'll be a waste to have such information contained in an "Intro" type of thread and it'll make it harder for others to find this information when they need it.
