Newb from Brissie

Gday all,

Just took delivery of my Black ST-S Manual today... pretty stoked to see some real enthuisiasts out there...

Apart from the ST-S added extras, i also got the factory nudge bar, carpet mats, rubber boot tray, tow kit (they fitted the wrong plug) and rear scuff plate..

The odo is reading 152km so far, running in is a tedious thing... (feel free to reply with running in tips)

That full system exhaust looks special! If only warranty was a non-issue.

I am going to get door scuff plates & bonnet protector added at my first 1000k service..

Looking forward to sinking my teeth in and catching up on all the previous posts by fellow owners.

I think i got my car for an absolute steal, anyone keen to know the price..

Cheers
George

Hi George and welcome to the forum.

Congrats on your new "Black Beauty" emoticon

If you can share the price with us, it'll certainly help other members (potential buyers of exy) of the forum, as we just recently had a member asking for the best price on the ST-S and your reply will help him greatly.

I also suggest you visit our On Line Shop before you fork-out a fortune on the door scuff plates as we do carry the exact same ones for much cheaper emoticon

Anyway, enjoy your stay on the forum and give a yell if you need any help.

As a new member I encourage you to familiarize yourself with the following section of the forum: Newbie Forum Guides

Gday Boss,

cheers for the heads up on the scuff plates... im also keen on that xtrail 3rd break light thing.. looks the goods..

price on the xt st-s manual was 30,250.. (i think from my guestimations there is about $200 more to move on this figure as the sales manager seemed to be genuinely uh-ahhing over some stuff i said)

this is on road, including nudge bar, tow pack, carpet mats, rubber tray...

this was the figure i got, without trade prices, inhouse finance etc... this was a best cash purchase price... and i think i handled it pretty shrewdly... was bouncing between about 5 dealers..

Hey and welcome Gbanger,

The Brisbane people on here are not as active as they used to be but I hope we can aggitate a few out of their hidey-holes when things warm up a bit and go for a run up a beach or dirt/mud track somewhere.

You'll be impressed at your X-Trail capabilities.

Danny

Darn getting active just as i'm driving out of here northwards.
Hi Gbanger I enjoyed my running in time. I live on the sunshine coast, took a cruise down thru beaudesert and the mount lindsay highway into Tenterfield the back way and then down to my sisters at Armidale - and back. Just a little over 1000 from here but checked with the dealer and they said okay. It gave the car a variety of easy highway running, variable speeds, and I had a great drive.
Cheers Julie
