I got a Hayman Reece towbar added by a 4x4 shop near the dealer and they did a good job. The new alloys and tyres SECURITY (EDIT by Jalal): Number Plate has been removed for privacy reasons.nondisclosed_email@example.com (DoomyXTrail)Sun, 05 Feb 2006 15:30:52 +0000 Re: Soon to be....https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p873011,from=rss#post873011https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p873011,from=rss#post873011quote:DoomyXTrail wrote: Towbar is a must and a local 4x4 shop has quoted me $330 which sounds resonable? I have agree on a purchase price of $23990 for a White 2004 ST Auto 53000klm. Also buying a set of alloys (not the Nissan ones) 15" for $540 that look quite nice. Now the other extras. Towbar is a must and a local 4x4 shop has quoted me $330 which sounds resonable? Will looking into a nudge bar and roofracks. Those prices sounds about fair, although they also have done the top end of the milage. Extract from Redbook: 2004 NISSAN X-TRAIL T30 II ST Wagon 4dr Auto 4sp 4x4 2.5i Prices based on km 30,000 - 50,000 Trade in price guide* $20,300 - $22,400 National average price - private sale* $24,200 - $28,000 Price when new (RRP) $33,990 all prices quoted are GST inclusive My advice when purchasing secondhand is always make sure you get an independant RACQ or NRMA inspection, this is a must, Cheers To enhance your forum identity you may also wish to change some of your optional settings such as your "Avatar", "Signature", & "Location". I am hoping for a 2004 ST Auto, have a couple I am looking at right now. $24990 both around 50000 klm which from my research seems a good deal but neither have any extras. Will keep you informed.nondisclosed_email@example.com (DoomyXTrail)Wed, 25 Jan 2006 00:34:06 +0000 Re: Soon to be....https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p873007,from=rss#post873007https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p873007,from=rss#post873007Hi Scott and welcome to the forum. Always a good sign to see "future" xtrailers join up and am sure you will soon find the ride you're after. Good luck in your search for an "exy" Please keep us posted and give us a yell if you need any help (price-wise or anything else you need to look out for) If you're buying a used Series I, make sure the owner shows you that they have done the recall inspection (series I had 2 recalls) nondisclosed_email@example.com (jalalski)Tue, 24 Jan 2006 20:41:26 +0000 Soon to be....https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p873006,from=rss#post873006https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p873006,from=rss#post873006Hi everyone, Not quite a owner yet but thought I would join up anyway! Caught the X-Trail bug after my parents bought one and I used it while up North QLD on holidays. Plenty of power and towed my boat to the creek like it wasn't there It seems in todays traffic and with fuel prices the way they are the X-Trail fits the bill perfectly for around town use, towing the boat and the odd offroad camping trip. Just got to find a good deal second-hand as they are snapped up pretty quick Look forward to contibuting to the site as things progress!
