Just bought an X-Trail

I have already posted on these forums [sign in to see URL]|offset=20

But I thought I had better do my introductions. After looking at different vehicles since my old Honda Civic died I finally decided upon a NEW X-Trail. Considering the deals going at this time of year and the fact that it was within my budget I bought an X-Trail.

I got a 2005 Black ST X-Trail, the only addition was roof racks. I'm pretty happy so far, except my trip meters and clock reset every time I turn the key off Accessory.

I have also take a few pics of my first drive in the new vehicle. Check it out here:

I hope you don't mind me linking to my blog but it is easier for me to maintain.

Cheers!

Hi riscy and welcome again emoticon

There is no problem at all linking your blog to this forum. Everyone is free to do so as long as it is xtrail related.

You can actually link your blog to a member profile page which we can set-up for you on the ]Main Page of the site "click on members" if you email us your photos to:

mailto: admin@[sign in to see URL]

WRT to the trip meter, check the ashtray and/or the centre arm-rest box for a spare and un-used fuse, if you find it, refer to |offset=10]THIS thread for the exact position of this fuse.

Yeah I'm a Latrobe Valley resident. Living in Traralgon.

Walhalla is a nice spot. The road we drove on is the Walhalla road on this map:

Welcome Riscy,

I really like the colour of your 4bie!

I too chose black and have spent many hours reading up on the net on how to look after it properly.

Some good tips on keeping black (or any colour for that matter) in great condition can be found here: [sign in to see URL]
