Not another newbie from Melbourne.... ;-)

Hey everyone,

I would be Adam from SE Melbourne, but my friends call me Pottz.

Moving right along...

Firstly, I am a huge Subaru WRX/STi fan, and modifying Subaru's has been my pride and joy for many years now, but thats a different story.

I've always liked the design of the X-Trail so in Jan 04 we purchased the limited edition ST-R model as a 2nd car, which was being runout by the dealer at the time for a good price. I've had no problems with it yet, other than a recent recall for the fuel filler so all is good. Great compact 4x4 for sure.

That said, my financial position is changing later this year as my partner & I are expecting our first child so my WRX has gone to another home and the X-Trail will now become our primary vehicle.

Admittedly, I haven't used the X-Trail to its fullest potential but the plan is to get her offroad, especially up into the mountains and snow and she what she can OR cannot do - can't wait. hehe!

Anyways, enough about me & feel free to say g'day. Happy xtrailing emoticon

Re: Not another newbie from Melbourne.... ;-)

Thanks guys.

Ive spent the last few days going over the DIY section and I must say it pretty much covers everything you could want to do. Credit to the club that people are willing to pass on their knowledge..

Im not totally happy with the handling of the xtrail so first mod's will definately be aimed at that area - strut brace and swaybar. emoticon
