Another Newbie

Oops this is where I was supposed to put this post...*chuckle* SILLY ME!

Hi Folks.

Im a Sydneysider, well the outskirts and we have just purchased a new 2005 Xtrail.

Im new to all things 4WD and love to read tips tricks all sorts of useful and not so useful info.

We have a cub camper and bought the exie to tow it as it was a bit of a strain on the Pulsar.

Looking forward to chatting with you all.

Bluey.

Re: Another Newbie

Welcome Bluey!

Another previous Pulsar owner (one more for the Pulsar-count, Jalal!) - which model was your Pulsar?

Plenty to see and do around here, with heaps of links scattered throughout the messages to member's photos showing off what tracks they've managed to conquer in their X-Trails... I'm sure there'll be enough to keep you busy for hours!

Enjoy your stay, and we look forward to hearing and seeing photos of your own adventures! Keep an eye out for up-coming outings (camping, day-trips etc) as they are becoming quite regular in Sydney now, and it would be good to meet some new members at these events (I can't talk - I've missed the last two!)...

Hey Can.

The Pulsar is a 2003 ST. Still have it. I sold the 2001 Hyundai Accent to buy the Xtrail.

Wife drives the exie most of the time though...*L* Im lumbered with the Pulsar.

Re: Another Newbie

Hey once again Canberra.

I hope you guys don't mind me shortening your handles. I cant help it Im a chatter from way back.

I/we would love to join a convoy of exies and see how it does. We haven't had any 4wd training as yet. We bought the exie to tow our Cub camper a little more effectively than the Pulsar.

Speaking of which we have just been away with the exie and cub for 2 weeks up at Bonny hills. Only did a few k of gravel roads in it though.

We are still getting used to the extra 2 wheels..*LMAO*

Bluey.
