My name is John S, and I live in the central tablelands area of NSW - between Orange/Bathurst/Cowra and out of town. I am an older guy who has had lots of (mostly all new Holdens) vehicles over the years. I bought my new Series I Ti X-trail in April 2002 & have now done just over 80,000k without trouble or surprises. It is Twilight colour. Most of my driving is on country highways. Extras are: Bonnet & light protectors, Nissan Nudge Bar & 2 driving lights, luggage blind, exhaust chrome 'end', floor & cargo carpet mats. I have also fitted some larger front mud flaps in front of the existing ones to try to further protect the car from stone damage. During the last year I have fitted rear parking sensors, K& N air filter & strut bar. All the extras have been fitted by myself (except seat covers) and I even made brackets that lifted the luggage blind about 70mm higher to clear our car frige. I have been very happy with the X-trail. My only complaint relates to the seat material and I would have prefered a slightly more up-market appearance to the interior generally. Oh, and the centrally located speedo makes it far too easy for my w--- to keep telling me when I exceed the speed limit!!! nondisclosed_email@example.com (Dunoon)Fri, 16 Dec 2005 20:34:09 +0000 Re: a newbie to this forum ~https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p872777,from=rss#post872777https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p872777,from=rss#post872777the rims, tyres, fitment and alignment with lock nuts were $2600 from Donnellans in Melbourne. Did get a lower price using Hankook Ventus tyres but i decided to go with the Pirellis. Should be much cheaper now though as i purchased them around a year ago now.nondisclosed_email@example.com (hscher)Sat, 09 Apr 2005 11:34:58 +0000 Re: a newbie to this forum ~https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p872776,from=rss#post872776https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p872776,from=rss#post872776Hey, Another X-trail P plater.... Anyway, that is prob one of the nicest X-trails i've ever seen, if you don't mind me asking, how much was the whole wheel package (rims, tires, fittement etc) and where did you buy them from? Welcome aboard mate. Very nice looking Exy you got there mate, the rims are awesome and the amount of blue neon light you got there beats the hell out of my 2 blue windscreen washers "which I'm concerned about every time I see cops" Please give us a bit more info. about the rims and the tyre size you're using as well as general feedback on how smooth and/or bumpy the ride actually is with the low profile tyres. There is also a new thread that has just been created in terms of performance enhancements and we're actually now talking about the exhhasut mod. so any information from you in this regard will also be of great help. You can find this thread HEREnondisclosed_email@example.com (jalalski)Tue, 15 Mar 2005 07:00:10 +0000 a newbie to this forum ~https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p872774,from=rss#post872774https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p872774,from=rss#post872774hi my name is HS and i'm from melbourne. i purchased my white series 1 x-trail ti luxury from city nissan in dec 2002. i found this forum recently and found it to be quite helpful so i have decided to join. i have a few mods on my car which include remus exhaust, 18X8 rims running pirelli scorpion zero and HID headlights. i plan to mod the car further and i hope i will be able to learn more through this forum. talk to all of you soon ~ check out my x-trail on http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/804850nondisclosed_email@example.com (hscher)Tue, 15 Mar 2005 01:28:31 +0000
