Re: Hello.....sometimes!

Hi Chookz, TIA or is it Ian? emoticon

Welcome to the forums "sometimes" hehehe

You have to write a letter of complaint to your IT Support guys at work and this is just not on! How could they block access to such a popular and productive site like ours? LOL

If you need any support from my side to raise your case let me know emoticon

Seriously though, I think there could be a proxy or firewall setting at work preventing access to most visited (not work related URLs) unfortunately for you however, our URL must have got to the top of their list (thanks to someone there emoticon )

You should have swapped with Shane (titanx04) who just done the opposite and upgraded from an exy to a Patrol LOL.

Enjoy the forum (when you can access it)

Re: Hello.....sometimes!

..well, we bought the Xy, and while it is not ever in the same league as my ol Trol (God bless her soul)...this thing is the ducks guts in the city.

Only a small 400km country run towing a trailer (6x4)at present, but it handled this with ease.

I was initially anti the lil ''Esky'' (its white and boxy looking..hence the esky tag)...after the destruction of the Trol....but this lil things like a bloody wart...it grows on you.

Maybe just wish it was a rear driver....yeh yeh, ol habits emoticon emoticon

All in all...it has FAR FAR exceeded my expectations of this type of vehicle.

Congrats and am glad the exy has received your stamp of approval emoticon

It's pretty hard to get used to a smaller version of the beast, so as long as you keep this in mind, you'll enjoy it for many years to come.

Welcome to the club, Chookz. I think the slight loading on the front drive even when in 4WD is for handling - otherwise why sacrifice the tyres? Its my first front drive too: you get used to it. David M.

...just on the ''front drive'' thing....i was quite amazed how easy it is to get the front tyres to break loose upon take off in the wet emoticon We actually took to running it in auto mode...maybe it more of a tyre issue than anything?

Yep, it's a tyre thing. Used to happen to me as well with the standard Toyo's, Not anymore with A/T Tyres. emoticon

I dunno....
I'm running a/t's now and still can break the front end loose in the wet.....
Gotta love that torque steer.
I also wish the exy was a rear driver... much better for towing.
