Adelaide Trailer

Hi all. I have found this site very useful, so useful i have joined. I have a 2003 titanium silver ST manual series 1, racks, half height cargo barrier (custom made)and cruise control as an option (before it became standard!!!). I have done 58000 k's and am now looking to replace the original tyres so i have found the tyre threads very interesting, if not a little confusing at times. I am thinking Cooper Discoverer H/T at the moment, in the slightly larger 225x70x15 size.
About me, i am a surveyor, i live in inner sthn adelaide suburb, have schoolteacher wife and two gorgeous teenage daughters, one on her p's and she loves driving my Nissan. I enjoy sailing, diving, footy (go crows), McLaren Vale wine and travelling in the bush. I bought an xtrail because it is the leader in its class; versatile, very comfortable, peppy and economical, funky and all round practical. And cheaper than a commodore wagon in ST guise as well. What more can a man want?
Cheers
Pearcy

Hi Pearcy,

Another Surveyor, emoticon , well I'm a Surveyor as well, now that makes 3 of us here on this forum. emoticon

Your half height (custom made) cargo barrier, could you give us a bit more info on this? Maybe some dimensions, holding capacity, price, etc. Any pics of this would be great. Could be best starting a new thread in the Main Chat if you don't mind.

Teenage daughter on her P’s and loves your exy. Mate I think you’re in trouble of loosing it soon to her. You’ll just have to be very firm with her and tell her that she won’t appreciate you taking her exy for those weekend surveying projects every now and then. emoticon

Cheers

Re: Adelaide Trailer

Hi Pearcy,

That sounds great. Watch out for those teenagers, as the xtrails seems to be the perfect magnet machine for them. hehehe emoticon

You can use THIS thread if you wanna update on the custom made cargo barrier. This would ensure it is easily located by existing members and new-comers.

For the tyre selection questions, just post your reply in any of the existing threads and the guys will help you out to the best of their knowledge and first hand experience.
