Thanks for the Introduction!!
Thank you to the person who put the web site sticker on my window at Stockland Cairns on Saturday 30 Jul!! I was just saying to the wife that there should be an X-Trail club as I am seeing more and more on the roads. I own a Series 1 Ti which has seen its fair share of off road journeys around the back roads of Cairns and the Tablelands, Chillagoe being a particular favourite. If anyone has some good tracks to explore in the Cairns area I would like to hear from them?
Take care and happy 'trailing'

Re: Thanks for the Introduction!!
I guess that would have to have been me,
Welcome to the Forums.
You'd have to do some pretty hard convincing to get me to come with you off-road, as I've only been off-road in my exy once in the last 2 years of owning it.
Anyhow this forum has a wealth of info on our exy, happy reading, and enjoy your stay.
Got any nice pics of your X-Trail? CLICK HERE to learn how to host them for FREE using Imageshack.
To enhance your forum identity you may also wish to change some of your optional settings such as your "Avatar", "Signature", & "Location". These settings can be found by clicking the Control panel link found above & accessing the Change miscellaneous settings tab.
Cheers

Re: Thank You
Hey NPC 73,
Thanks for the reply, I sort of guessed it was you!! I Don't go off road that much but I do love my Exy. The only problem I have is tyres!! I have gone through 4 sets in three years and nowhave some Yokohamas on. They are 60/40 compounds and go real good off the beaten track but not good on road. I am currently planning a road trip to Adelaide through the red centre so am getting UHF and an inverter fitted. If I see you around Cairns I will give you a toot!!!
Tried to get on your web site but it was under construction??
Take Care and enjoy the ride!!

Mate, you have a problem! a wheel alignment problem that is and your Yokohamas wont last long either if you don't do something about it real quick.
There is just no way a properly aligned car (any car) can go through 4 sets of tyres in 3 years, unless you're driving your exy on a race track

Re: Thanks for the Introduction!!
Jalal,
See I'm not the only one with bad wear, it must be the really bad bitumen we have up here in Cairns,
TartanKangaroo,
Nah, I have to agree with Jalal, that wheel alignments are a must. I've done 32000km without an alignment and my tyres are had it. Looking at getting new ones in the next week or two.
Web-site under construction that's strange, I'll PM you the correct address just in case you made a mistake typing it in,
