Thought I would do an intro and say whats up!

I just purchased a brand spanking new X-Trail. I have not got it yet, hopefully it will be ready on Tuesday.

Here are the specs:

-BLACK Nissan X-Trail 2005 Ti-L Sunroof
-Dark Tint
-Nudge Bar
-Fog Lamps
-Wheathershields Left & Right
-Smoked Bonnet Protector
-Driving Lights
-Roof Bars
-Side Steps
-Rear Spoiler
-Scuff Plate
-Exhaust Finisher
-Carpet Mats
-Kick Plates
-Cargo Blind
-Rear Protection Carpet

I think thats all emoticon I have also got a K&N Filter on the way and a new Sony CDXF7710 head unit waiting to be installed.

I'll post some pics on Wednesday of me picking it up from the dealership!

i have a white exy Ti-L sunroof. love the sunroof, its huge.

one thing, make sure ur fog lights are working at the dealer. mine aren't.. am waiting till the 1000km check to get them working.

have fun you'll love the car!

oh my waiting period for pickup was just under 2 weeks!

Re: New Sydney X-Trail Owner

Looks like we've been overtaken by the North shore xtrail gang here LOL emoticon

So many brand new black exy's coming on board which is always nice to see emoticon

I wont get into a race over the accessories that I currently have on my exy, but I can guarantee you its VERY addictive emoticon

So, it's all a head of you guys and this forum has a wealth of information in this regard.

Looking forward to see these cool looking xtrails transform to something even cooler.

Paul, you have scored a great package, well done mate!

Re: New Sydney X-Trail Owner

echo comments - you'll love your car ..

have ordered SII but have been driving SI Ti for 2.5 years and it's been a very cool vehicle, perfect for the urban commando emoticon and you'll be surprised in what it can do, you only have to spend some time looking around this web page to see that, it's best to know what you can do before you try to understand what the car can do though.. but tear it up mate and enjoy.

i almost ordered a Ford XR6 Turbo (which surpisingly was cheaper than the exy to lease over two years) and even considered the Monaro but i am so glad my girlfriend changed my mind and am really hanging out for my new car to arrive, she reminded me of all the cool places we've been and all the wicked trips we've had and it was a pretty quick decision, new exy, no question …wanna do it all again emoticon

Yeah can't wait to get it. My 2 last 2 cars were a Honda CRX and Honda a 02 Honda Integra Type-R. Bit of a change getting an X-Trail but I think this car will be more practical.

Welcome to the forum, Paul (kenzo) & Michael (xhead - are you copying my name? emoticon )...

Looks like the scales are getting tipped my way for the number of members that have previously owned performance-oriented cars rather than camry's (sorry Jalal!)

Looks like you guys are settling in quite well, already having updated your user profiles to indicate your location...

Could I also encourage you to check out the stickers thread and place your order! Check out this thread: http://com1.runboard.com/baustralianxtrail.fannouncements.t1

Who said a Camry is not a performance car? LOL emoticon It has performed quite well when I had it, stayed on 4 wheels and did not pop any funny sounds out of the exhaust when I drove it around. hehehe

Watch-out mate, Ex-Camry owners (and there are plenty on this forum) will be knocking on your door soon emoticon "just kidding"

Would I go back to a Camry after driving an exy for more than 2 years…Hell no!

Would you go back to your beloved high performance Pulsar?
