Re: new to this site

Good to see someone else from the Geelong area on this site. What area of Geelong are you from Dave as I'm from Lara. Also spent time at Fords in solitary!!!(14 years to be exact)left 10 year ago. What are the details(color etc) of your xtrail as I'll have to keep an eye out for it. Mine is series 2 TI-L twilight silver, generally have the engel fridge in back on top of roller drawer system so you would be able to pick the vehicle, also running BFG all terrains, raised suspension etc & noisy exhaust, very dinstinguishable from other xtrails, hope to catch up at some stage & maybe even go for day trip around otways, blackwood etc

Cheers Phil

Re: new to this site

Dave, made my own drawer set up as its designed to house my second battery & big red compressor. My 15 ltr engel sits on top of the box. Its designed to actually mount to the cargo barrier so it can be removed quickly & easilly should the need arise to change the spare tyre. This is mk1 will be adding another box beside it to house the 39 ltr engel for times when the van is on the back & dont need as much room. The 15 ltr is in permanently as the wife uses it when she does the shopping. Outback in cairns make a unit for the back which is designed to tilt so you can still access the spare easilly but its not very deep & is about $1200. I have one of their drawer setups that used to be in my discovery which is now in my renault van & the quality is fantastic hence the price. Following are a couple of pics of the drawer & battery setup. I have changed the battery since photo's to a 120 A/H which should run fridge for around 4 days without starting vehicle.
