Coming in from the sideline

Well guys, been on the sideline for the last year following all your adventures and thought it was about time to come into the game.

About me, 31, live at Pendle Hill

Car; 2005, Series II Xtrail, Black, Automatic, Nudge Bar, Tint, Roof Racks and Tow Bar and under carriage protection, all factory fitted at time of purchase.

The vehicle is leased so there goes any further major modifications.

Trails so far a few trips to Braidwood, Dharug National Park, but only a bit, a small trail from North Kurrajong to Bilpin and just yesterday the Newnes trip from the book "20 Treks close to Sydney"

Must say that is a descent drive and a good way to test the exy. Handled it quite well given the stock tyres and only bottomed out once, more due to bad placement of the wheels, than lack of ability of the car.

Definately will be going back, 1 to explore some more of the tracks, 2 do the walk at the ruins, 3 to do some camping there.

Moving on planning to do at least one day trip a month and am tossing up between the Watagans or a drive through Nowra from the book for the next one.

Anyway, that is enough of an intro, hopefully will catch up with some of you at some point.

Bish

Hi bish,

And Welcome aboard.

Out of all the lurkers, I think you have beaten the "Lurkers Record" so far emoticon emoticon. Jalal do we have a prize for that?

No seriously it's never too late to join up, and that goes to all other lurkers out there as well, emoticon

Welcome to the forum Bish.

I didn't know that Nissan offered the under carriage protection as an option? Is this a new add-on accessory they now have?

Would be interested in more details about this please.

Probably fully undersealed Jalal, I had mine done by the dealer when I bought it.
