New from Moggill/Brisbane

Hello all,

Probably a bit pre-mature as my wife and I are still waiting to take delivery of our new ST-S, we have been told it will be this Thursday at the earliest and Friday at the latest. They have the extras we included to fit (nudge bar, cargo barrier, tow pack, 6 stacker CD with mp3, window tinting and rust proofing).
The decision to go with the Exy did not come easy, as I did a lot of research on the other popular choices, but one by one for various reasons these were struck from the list. Then a co-worker allowed me to take his for a drive during a lunch break and the decision was made.
The main reason for looking for a compact 4WD was that we want to get into camping, I have done a fare bit already as a scout then during my time in the RAAF and I would like to introduce my wife to it. I think her main drive is to get me away from all other distractions that bite into 'us time' emoticon The vehicle that have traded in is a Honda Accord Euro which lacks the ability and carrying capability required.
It was also very encouraging to see that the Exy has such a strong following and we are both looking forward to participating in some of the day trips, keeping in mind that this will be the first 4WD that either of us has driven.

Will post again once we have taken delivery, and can leave it alone long enough.

Regards

Lloyd & Annette

Hi lloyd,

Leaving it alone could be the main prob, we took delivery of ours on friday night and spent the whole weekend in it, we love it already, same model - "STS".

Enjoy, from one newbie to another.

Adrian,

Hi Llyod, am glad you finally made it here emoticon

Welcome to the forum mate and enjoy your stay here.

I didn't know that Nissan now offered the option to have a 6CD stacker that is MP3 capable. Have they changed the head unit in the ST-S from the previous models?

Thankyou Jalalski

With the 6 CD stacker MP3 player, they are fitting the unit that comes with the Ti. But I understand that it also requires a head unit change to make it MP3 capable.

Re: New from Moggill/Brisbane

Even though I have made my first post in this area as required, I have just tried to post a question in the main area and I am being denied.

Any ideas of what is going wrong?

Regards

Lloyd

Lloyd,

I just sent you an email about this. Please let me know what is the error message you're getting and what exactly have you tried to do?
