The fish translator is good for website content, you wont be able to translate a text contained in a PDF format document, unless you start typing every word contained in the document in German to have it translated to English.

For a UK site, am surprised they have a German version document and not an English one for customers to read.

You may want to email them and ask for the English version of it.

Re: Nudge Bar Fittment

Thanks Jalal and Brett,

I was a little concerned about making up some brackets for the nudge bar too. Spoke to a welder friend and he seemed to think he'd be able to do something.

Making up some brackets is definitly a last resort and I'll keep looking around for some. I understand that it isn't good for safety and insurance but the nudge is useless to me. (Can't sell it or fit it!!)

Thanks and Peace
Simon

Re: Nudge Bar Fittment

I fitted a Series II factory nudge last night (with a little help from Brett's how to, cheers mate)

I can confirm that the procedure for fitting the Series II nudge it identical to the Series I, so might be worth changing the How to title to cover series II as well.

Yeah, ARB are like that. I got the same type of response when I asked them about the chances of making a snorkel for the exy. Very poor marketing strategy.

have a look at the TJM T26 bar.

I priced it for $529 (not including fitting which the guy said you could do yourself)

That's shocking!

I went to ARB in Artarmon (NSW) and they were only too helpful in getting the nudge for my X-Trail. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but you should have had a crack at the guy who you spoke to and and asked him why they provide accessories for most 'softroaders' if they don't deal with them... and then speak to his manager!

That's just poor form. If I was a manager of that ARB store and found out one of my employees was sending out that sort of notion, he'd be sacked!

Re: Nudge Bar Fittment

Hi folks

With the new EU regulations pertaining to nudge bar fitting etc etc, its very difficult to get your hands on a genuine Nissan one here in Ireland anymore.

After a lot of waiting, and more waiting, I managed to get one for my T30 on eBay finally emoticon
Part number is KE540-8M010 [or that might ne 8N010, cant read it too well emoticon ]

Heres the bad bit though :-( it doesnt have the brackets or any details of fitting. So I have 2 questions:
1) Would the (excellent) install guide on the HOW TO section cover this part also and
2) does anyone have any details of the brackets I need? Can I get them separately from Nissan or just have to get them made up locally.

Any and all help appreciated...

Cheers....
