Re: Blue Parking lights

Are you sure you don't mean the blue-LED winscreen-washer nozzles?

I believe I have seen one X-Trail in Sydney (around Auburn I think it was) that had very dark blue front parking lights.

Changing your parking lights to blue would be as easy as popping into your local automotive store (Repco, SupaCheap etc) or Jaycar Electronics, and looking for blue globes of correct wattage and style.

I assume you already know the front parking light lens already has a light blue tint...

I also saw a commodore with bright blue side blinkers tonight. It wont be long before he gets pulled over by the police - something else you should be aware of when you start changing the colours of your lights (especially to blue!)

Re: Blue Parking lights

I previously had changed the windscreen washer nozzles to an LED type and I had them in blue, something told me that I shouldn't have these and I might get in trouble with police, so I changed them to a bright white and guess what, got pulled over by cops and they asked me to switch them off. I asked why? they said they're distracting and have suggested I hook 'em up to a separate switch which I have done and they now only come-on with the front fog lights emoticon

We do have a blue-ish lens for the parkers, but the bulbs themselves are white, changing them to blue WILL attract attention of the cops and you will get pulled-over, so just be aware of that.
