Remote Tailgate Release
Hi Guys (Series II owners)
Am I correct in assuming that Series II is fitted with the tailgate release handle?
Can someone please post some pics of its location and any other details they can provide? Like where the release cable is running from and things like that?
The Series I doesn't have that and we only have the fuel lid remote release handle, so this addition will be a very practical one if I can get it.
Thanks for your help.

Re: Remote Tailgate Release
Roger,
I was just looking at the specs of Series II on the net (after asking myself this question) and it clearly stated that Series II was fitted with this (in Australia at least)
The Nissan Australia site doesn't mention this, but THIS Australian review does, hence my question.

Thanks Adam, it is strange that CarPoint lists the TI-Luxury to have this.
quote: Not sure what the purpose would be because you don't need a key to open the boot anyway. Remote openers from within the car are normally on cars where you can only open the boot with a key.
Not necessarily, other SUVs have this feature and I think it is very practical. Example, the Lexus SUV.

Re: Remote Tailgate Release
Thanks guys, I guess this is an Nissan Japan thing (maybe) or just a typing error on behalf of CarDomain.
Regardless, it would have been good to have it I reckon.
