Sand tyre pressure

Not able to find any thing in site search. I run Bridgestone 215/65/16 TI X-Trail 32psi all round on road, is that about right? 18psi on sand should this be lower on sand?

Re: Sand tyre pressure

Search words "tyre pressure" and "sand driving" will give you the answers on the forum emoticon

Because I have wider tyres that are A/T type (235/60/16) I find that running them on 36psi (city driving) was the ideal pressure.

Beach/sand driving pressure I found best to be around 15psi, but it really depends on the type of tyre and the condition of the sand (soft or compacted)
