Re:

Our X-Trail (which we've not collected yet). Shows on the purchase receipt as being T31 MY10 ST. Production date 01 June 2010. It's Petrol CVT and 4x4.
Would this be a series 2 or series 3?
Any specific differences/things I need to know about one series or the other?

Thanks.

Re:

It's a Series 3 I reckon and you'll be able to tell the difference between Series 2 and 3, as the Series 3 would have LED tail lights.

Not all Mark, look in the rear view mirror for the LED reflection on the windscreen of the car behind you at the lights emoticon

Yeah I know, sounds a bit "blonde" doesn't it.
To be honest though it was not something I thought to take notice of.

Re: What series is my X-Trail?

Just bought a March 2012 ST-L.
It was advertised as a Series 5, and I am pretty sure it is, but just wanted to double check.
What are the differences between the Series 4 and 5? The only thing I can tell is that the CD player looks a bit nicer than all the other 2011/2012 xtrails we looked at.

Re:

Hi Simon,

Not much difference at all between the Series 4 and 5 in the ST and ST-L models, except your CD player would have a USB port and the Series 4 doesn't.

Other model differences are listed ]HERE
