Re: Cleaning Factory wheel covers
Hi adam74,
And Welcome to the Forums.
Funny you say this, I was almost about to buy a can of wheel and tyre cleaner yesterday from the "Warehouse" here in Cairns, but didn't bother because I cleaned my exy last week and my tyres are still clean. It was a spray on/hose off application, and about $4.75 per can.
The other device I find very usefull over every other thing out there to clean your vehicle is a sheepskin mitton, honestly these are brilliant.

Re: Cleaning Factory wheel covers
Hi Adam,
The business card on your windscreen must have been a good effort of Noel. hehehe
He loves shopping centres LOL
I'll let you know the name of the spray I have sitting in the garage and it's for brake dust removal (i.e. not trye or alloy wheels shine)

Re: Cleaning Factory wheel covers
OK Adam,
The stuff is called "Brake Dust Repellent" and it's made by Micheline.

Re: Cleaning Factory wheel covers
Thanks for the update Adam.
Am glad it worked and you have solved the problem.
Of course you can't go wrong for that price; you could buy 20 cans of that cleaner and still be a head LOL
I only bought this expensive stuff to actually stop the brake dust from accumulating on my wheels, as the factory brake pads were shocking in this regard.
I only used it once and it worked fine, however since then I have discovered a good alternative for the factory brake pads which produce no brake dust at all (or very minimal), so I have no need for this spray anymore either.
Well done!

Re: Cleaning Factory wheel covers
Sure do Adam.
check THIS for details and part numbers.
Noel can help you locate them in Cairns too, as he recently bought the front and rear sets.
As for Nissan fitting them in for you...why?
Save your money and do it yourself
HERE is the DIY Guide I have put together for this.
Good luck.
