Jalal,
Could we register a .org.au which redirects to the .com ?
Then Google would list the .org.au higher and then everyone would be redirected to the .com which is the actual website and forum.
Actually getting a .org.au is a LOT harder than .com.au - you need to be registered charity or something like that.
.com.au is not hard at all - the rules have been relaxed compared to a few years ago. Not sure what you might have registered for the online shop - that might do?
But the idea is there Kev - have a .au domain with a single entry page with all the keyword and stuff u need - and then the ENTRY link from there leads into this site. No need to change all the other stuff - its just a doorway you need.
Cheers

Re: How did you find this forum?
Hi Michael,
Am working on it as we speak and already following some of the points you have mentioned in your email (check the home page)
I'll be applying for the .au domain shortly using the shop details
Was going to ask you something, but you're not online on MSN.

Re: How did you find this forum?
Woohoo, a momentous occasion indeed.
You'll have to record this date down as an important event for the year.
Another giant leap for the forum.

Actually I found it pretty hard to Google the forum.
Yes if you type "Australian X-Trail" in then the forum comes up (at #1 when I checked).
But if you select the "pages in Australia" button - it doesn't come up for quite a few pages if at all.

Hi Michael,
Wanna give it a go one more time and do a search for our forum on the Aussies pages in Google to see our rank? LOL
Yes, we're Number 1

Re: How did you find this forum?
Hi all. FYI, I found the site by doing a Google Search for 'X-Trail Forum' searching pages from Australia. Can't remember if you were at the top of the list but, if not, it was very close to it.
Cheers
