Rear door scuff plate

Noel, I noticed that you have a chrome scuff plate on the rear bumper. Where did you get it & are they available? I could use one to cover the scratches made by my two dogs.

Re: Rear door scuff plate

Available from your local Nissan Dealer for around $116 (excluding fitting)

DIY takes around 15 minutes by drilling to pilot holes in the rear bumper and the screw on the scuff plate.

It comes with the needed instructions.

Thanx Jalal. Now all I need to do is to submit a Justification For Expenditure to the Chief Financial Officer for her approval. emoticon Is it stainless steel?

No worries Greg,

It seems that Chief Financial OfficerS are getting busy these days approving applications.

I've been hearing that a lot lately. hehehe

Maybe we need to set-up a forum template of approval or something, so you can just print and submit for review and approval emoticon

I can certainly use one myself.

Re: Rear door scuff plate

Can you believe it?

We got the scuff plate fitted by Nissan before we picked up the car. They put in plain screws in a chrome scuff plate and now the screws are rusting. Can you believe it???? $40,000 car and bloody plain screws!!! Beyond me.

Bluey,

That is really strange, as the scuff plate comes with it's stainless steel screws in the same kit/box!
