i was also told that the cruse control would disenguage over 140....

What do you want to stop?
a. Going over 190kms/hour?
b. Disabling the cruise control to cut-off, which is a safety feature?
As far as I know the cut-off point in terms of speed of the exy (which is set by the factory) is 180kms/hour. That is on a stock exy

Re: how fast ?
Well Keiron, I'm not sure about you, but personally I wouldn't want to be traveling at a speed of over 140kms/hour WITH cruise control! I would want to have TOTAL control of my car and feel everything.
I'm not even sure it can be done at all with the factory cruise, why would you??
If you're planning to go above that speed with a cup of coffee in hand, then I don't feel the forum can and should help you kill yourself

Re: how fast ?
yeah it probably is an rpm regulated thing...and i agree with both of you that the cruse control is limited for road safety reasons, as well as speed, and would not consider actually changing, or trying to change those limits in any way.
it was just a thought when i submitted the above post, a queery.
i dont wish to, or am i in the habbit of, breaking any legal limits.
