posticon Are Xtrails holding their value??

Hi all

I was just reading our local paper and there is a ad for a 02 Ti with leather, low k's, [manual] for $23.246. I thought they would hold their value a bit better than that!!

What sort of prices are they selling for in your State? emoticon

Re: Are Xtrails holding their value??

They are selling for around 25grand in Canberra. The price of 2nd hand xtrails are probably dropping because of the amount of them being sold new and also because nissan heavily discounted prices with the drive to a million campaign, and when any car company does that, resale value drops dramatically (take the mitsubishi magna for example, it got discounted and now they are going for $11000 for a decent km 2001/02 model)

Re: Are Xtrails holding their value??

Am not sure about the resale value of the exy as it seem to go up and down, but am not selling my exy for less than $30,000 hehehe

The chrome alone worth more than half the price of the exy, not to mention that its an ST-i which none of the dealers have in Australia or otherwise LOL

One of a kind !

Am sure there will be someone out there who will appreciate the time and money I put into my exy.

P.S. The trade-in price I was given was $28,000 when I priced the new Pathy '05 emoticon

No, am not selling emoticon

Shane

How much discount did you get on the Patrol though?

I like the look of the new Suzuki Grand Vitara that has just been released, good pricing also. However, it's no bigger than the XTrail (possibly smaller) so not real reason to look any closer.
