Re: Mudflap - what to look for?
Thanks guys,
Shane, the link is useful and I will definitely have a look at Clark Rubber this weekend, although my wife may not like the look of it.
Jalal, thanks for the offer. I will definitely call you if all fours are stolen in the future.
Nissan is asking $182 for ONE mudflap by the way, no wonder people steal it.
Good idea Rich, I will try wreckers as well.
Yes some people are so low. I have previously lost 2 number plates, number plate holders, blind spot mirrors, windscreen wiper arms, tyre valve caps, and believe or not 16 wheel bolts (except the lockable ones). But who'd have guessed - an X-Trail mudflap? Are there anything people wont bother stealing from an X-Trail?
--- Cheers

Re: Mudflap - what to look for?
William,
I'm suprised that they managed to steal the mudflap that easily, cause as far as I know ALL Series II (ST-S included) have hex head screws in every part of the car (including mudflaps and tweeters and the rest)
ALL Series I screws are phillips heads.
They must have targetted you to be able to have the right tools at the right time.
Am now thinking of changing my screws to hex as well.
You wont find these at the wreckers cause it is the first thing that gets taken-off. I have never seen mudflaps on an exy during any of my visits.

Re: Mudflap - what to look for?
Look harder Rich, the mudflaps in particular have hex screws in Series II.
I'm pretty sure as I worked on many when installing the fender trim.
Also, the DIN pockets and the tweeter brackets (but you don't have those in the ST)
