tyre help

Hi all
My first post, I need new tyres now and because we are doing the Gibb river road on our trip we need all terain tyres. can only find two tyres in 215/65/16, Dunlop grountrek AT2 and yokohamma go2 At2. Same price so that is not an issue, anyone have an opion on which one I should buy.
I noticed Dave (XTEECEE) has the yokohamas, dave if you read this what do you think of them and why did you pick them. Welcome to the site, I hope you ,Ann and the kids enjoy Tassie.

hi ron&jacki what a great trip yuo are going to have.well i went to anglesea on the weekend and it was very wet and mushy in the bush it is right on the coast in south west victoria i give them a good work out and only had to be pulled ouy of a realy deep washed out rut only drama i had all day .the tyres seem to take over and find and hold there line pretty good .it is going to be completly different conditios for you .you are going to be driving on gibber rocks so you will probably need a tyre with good side wall ply as they will get hot and the rocks will be sharp .so i will say so far the yokohamas are suitable for my kind of driving ,will keep you posted if anything out of the ordanary happens.goodluck ..family sais hi as well ,..
