It says 785 for my rear. I better check the tyre pressures. emoticon

Dave,

The nissan values were taken with a full tank of fuel and the rest of the lubricants, plus the standard car jack and tools as well as the spare in place.

In your case the 780mm for the rear might have been caused by bash plate being that heavy emoticon

Brett: You may want to measure the front and rear again to match the Nissan way of measuring and to give a clear indication of the height increase caused by the suspension lift in your case.

Not bad at all mate. A 5mm difference with all this extra stuff and weight is nothing.

Jalal,
I did measure it as per the Nissan pic. Wheel arch to ground. But this measurement is effected by tyre pressure, which is the reason that all suspension shops measure from wheel arch to centre hub.

 Hf standard = 773. Mine = 825mm.
 Hr standard = 786. Mine = 835mm.

Overall increase of 52mm at the front and 49mm at the back.

Re: Ground Clearance 150mm or 195mm?

Got the tape measure out recently when the Exy was parked in my parents garage (as mine does not have a very flat concrete floor) to check the clearance.

It measured approx. 170mm to the lowest part of the bashplate. Factors to take into account were the factory tyres have about 3mm tread left, tyre pressure was 34 PSI and 3/4 of a tank of juice and no other extra weight on board.

When the new tyres are fitted i will remeasure (should be around 182mm mark) as new tyre sizing will give around 8mm lift plus the 3 or 4mm already worn to date.

Re: Ground Clearance 150mm or 195mm?

As reported a couple of months ago my Exy had about 170mm of ground clearance with a worn set of toyo's on it.

As a result of my recent Cooper ATR tyre upgrade this has increased to around 182mm to the under side of the bash plate. A little more breathing space for offroading.
