Only if you are replacing the air filter with a high flow one like a K&N, if you just put a standard paper filter in there, no re-set is required.

Hi. I found your thread interesting.

 I have located the fuse box under the boner next to the battery and inside it I found just two fuses ENG CONT1 and ENG CONT2 10A and 20A I dont have the 15A fuse. And its X trail [sign in to see URL] T30

Just wandered if you advise will work for me.

Sorry mate, but your fuses layout and ratings are completely different from the petrol models, so this re-set procedure won't work for you. You can still however re-set the ECU by disconnecting the battery overnight.
